My daughter, Jenny, is travelling to Butte, Mt to visit here boyfriend for a week. Can you give me a heads up as to what type of town it is? Quiet country or crime ridden urban center? Needless to say I am not entirely comfort able with her travelling there on her own but she is 25 and I can't stop her.

I have a question... I have a small 1950's ranch and need new windows and siding. I would also like to add a front porch and may have trouble getting a zoning variance, should I go ahead with the windows/siding or wait until the variance is approved and have the porch added on first? Then have the windows/siding installed.
